This week Clint and Russ interview Jessica Knott, CDT. Jessica designs and builds 3D printers and helps validate 3D printing resins for dentistry so that we can make sure that the materials are acceptable for human use. Clint talks about his project in Tanazania and how we think 3d printing will be useful for these clinics in underserved areas with the goal to give great dental restorations for dollars a piece.
In the second half of the show, Jessica talks about her experience of training with the Air Force to receive her CDT through the Air Force. We learn about the rigourous and comprehensive training the Air Force gets its dental teams.
